TehnoBlog.org (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates tehnoblog.org domain (the “site”). The following page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of Personal Information we receive from users of the site.
We use your Personal Information only for providing functionality and improving the site. By using the site, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
Information Collection And Use
While using our site, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information (e.g. email address and name (name does not need to be real one, nicknames / aliases are fine)), that can be used to contact or identify you (e.g. while leaving or replying with your comment or using our site’s contact form).
Data Logging And Processing
We collect information (“log data”) that your browser sends whenever you visit our site from a mobile phone, tablet, personal computer, smart TV and other devices capable of web access (further: “device”). This log data includes information such as your device’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our site that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages and other statistics. Our site automatically logs your IP address when you leave a public comment, which is used for anti-spam protection and security reasons. In all other cases your IP address information is treated as explained below.
We use our own analytics software platform, and we have access to user’s coarse geo-location based on anonymized IP address (country and approximate city only). For example, last IPv4 octet is replaced with 0 and we do not permanently store user’s full IP address in our database. Your home address, phone number and other personally identifiable data are never collected nor stored on our site.
In addition, our server software automatically logs all requests by design for security reasons in the form of date and time stamp, IP address and requested resource or page, which are archived and stored for up to several months (24 months max), after which they are automatically deleted. We regularly purge tracking data periodically and manually, in order to save on server’s storage resources.
In addition, we use third party services, such as Google Analytics to collect, monitor and analyze traffic. In case of Google Analytics, we do not process user data directly, neither we have access to any personally identifiable data (such as user’s Google account, email, IP address etc.).
As explained above, we may keep analytics data for up to several months after which they are automatically deleted. Aggregated data that does not contain any personally identifiable information is kept indefinitely (such as total pages visits/views, duration of visits per day, week or month, etc.).
You can use below information to opt-out from our analytics program:
1. Opt-Out from our website’s internal analytics:
